Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) recently played host to a significant forum centered on nurturing postgraduate talents. The event, which was held on Sept 27, served as the launchpad for SUFE's ambitious Implementation Plan for Quality Enhancement of Postgraduate Education spanning from 2024 to 2026.
Dignitaries and luminaries from the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, as well as leaders from esteemed finance and economics universities across China, converged at the forum alongside SUFE representatives to deliberate on the future landscape of postgraduate education.
Wang Liang, a representative from the Ministry of Education, emphasized the critical role of finance and economics universities in nurturing top-tier, application-focused professionals. President of SUFE, Liu Yuanchun, highlighted the pressing need for postgraduate programs to adapt to the demands of the digital era and national strategies.
